My F.O.T.D / E.O.T.D -Easter Surprise

Well good afternoon guys,

So here's the overall look. 

  • So firstly I prepped , primed my face & put foundation on it .

  • Then I primed my lids with urban decay's primer lotion. 
  • To give the defined line , I used scotch tape (Sellotape) on the side of my eyes  & I applied Urban Decay's -Slowburn from the electric palette all over my lids. 
  • I used Creep from Urban Decay's Naked Palette and gave a cut crease affect to my crease and began to blend upwards . 
  • I then applied the same shade to my outer V.
  •  I used the shade Toxic from Urban Decay's Vice 2 and blended it above my crease in a wind wiper motion. 
  • Then it was time to apply maybelline's gel liner to give that winged liner look . I lined my water line and applied mascara . 
  • To give more definition to the look I used eyelure eyelashes and To top it all off I used the shade Thrash from Urban Decay's Electric Palette.
After my eyes were done , I removed the tape , and voila!! That defined line your hand just can't create (or at least mine can't )

Now,  after all that drama is over, I concealed , highlighted and contoured my shapeless face. I need to sculpt nearly everywhere, but that's just me. The blush I used was m.a.c  

I lined my lips with a drugstore nude lip liner, I'm not quite sure the name of the shade but anything will do. For my lips I didn't use lipstick. I mixed Slowburn again with a clear gloss and put it all over my lips. If you read my Urban Decay's Electric Palette review, you'll know that you can apply the shades to your lips, hair and nails. Urban Decay Electric Palette *Review*

Hey everyone :)
It's been far too long since I made a post , my apologies .

So I recently bought urban decay's electric palette. 

I have to say I absolutely love urban decay's palettes as they are so pigmented. I purchased this palette in debenhams (I live in Ireland) for €45.
If you do not live in Ireland you can purchase this online (amazon, debenhams ,sephora) . This palette in particular is a pressed pigments palette, which means !!! You can put this bad boy everywhere !! Well - in your hair, on your nails and lips (so basically everywhere) 

I've done a few looks when I was playing with this amaze -balls palette & what I noticed is, even without primer it stays on for AGES!! Genuinely. I even have a hard time getting it off , which is great. They are super pigmented which I love. 


It's a bit of a mess since I've used it. (Oops),Anyhoo there's 10 neon colours in there in total and a mixture between shimmers & mattes. I've also done a swatch for you guys. These swatches are  without primer.

Finished my weight loss journey

Hey guys !!

It's been ages since I made a post, (so sorry about that) but I noticed the last thing I was talking about was losing weight. So in the end I lost over 7 stone which is over 98 pounds for those of you who live in a country that deals with pounds :) 

It took me about 9 -10months to lose the weight initially and  My GOD is it hard to keep the weight off, I did gain some weight back an leveled off. I'll show you a before and after picture for those of you who are any way near as nosey as I am haha I joke :) 

The larger me is the before and the latter, is the after . And I did not wear a bikini in the end because the weight loss happening so fast resulted in me needing to tone quite a lot of skin if you know what I mean. So that's the update I have for that :)

Blogger Appreciation Award

Hii Everyone!

It has been SO long since i have written. As most of you know I have been on a diet. A very strict one and usually I give up on diets after about a month, but enough of that! I will fill you in on how that is going in a separate post. That was one of the reasons i was kept so busy and secondly with exams in college. I know no excuse is a good excuse. Anyway back to the point at hand.

I got awarded my first award :) I've never been awarded one before, or anything for that matter , i never win giveaways either !! oh well :( This award has made me want to work on my blog again, especially the appearance of my blog, i'm such a technophobe.

  1. I am not exactly sure how long but only a couple of months so I am new still.
  2. I started blogging because I love makeup and everything to do with fashion and nail art, i also have an obsession with brands of makeup and because I like to write also.

Week 5 *Weigh In*

Hola , Que tal mi amigos?

Well so far you all know i've lost 1 and a half stone (21) pounds. Well this week , i did a lot of walking as opposed to driving everywhere. I was kind of nervous getting weighed because I didn't feel like i lost anything. The goal is for a bikini in the summer. Although it's a long way to go, I'm going to be positive and I'm going to  say that I will hit that target. If i'm pesimistic and doubt that it will happen, it most likely won't happen . I drank 4 litres of water a day to help with the diet, and i notice i'm always thirsty now. So far nothing else has changed.


I got weighed and and I'm down <b> 5.5 pounds </b>

Which means I am 2 and a half pounds away from being down 2 stone. I will be weighed again this Saturday and I will fill you in.

Week 4 *Weigh In*

Helllo guys! Hope everyone is having a good week?

I got weighed on Saturday again. I didn't go mad on the exercise last week, I only did two days.
I've been lucky on this diet so far, although I did go to a retirement party on Friday night, it was difficult to not give into temptation, however the weigh in proved that not giving in , in fact , paid off.

So this week i  lost 3.73 pounds. Which means the total weight loss for this month was 1 stone and 6 pounds ( 1 1/2 stones) or as most countries know it as 20 pounds. I'm really happy with the results. I know the first month is meant to be the highest number of weight loss but i'm not complaining. If anyone is on a weight loss journey, i'd like to hear how you find it? any advice to give !

Week 3 *Weigh In*

Heya again!!

So i got weighed yesterday , yet again!
I was a bit disappointed with this weigh in. I know a person is not meant to lose a substantial amount each week, but, since I am eating the shakes and doing a lot of exercise , i thought the number lost would be higher. However, I am happy that i did lose something, I think that's the main thing really, aslong as i didn't put anything on.

This week, I did the zumba class (which got a lot harder), I went swimming and I  also took part in aqua aerobics again.

So here is the results for this week.

I lost 2.43 pounds.

I know most people want to know what weight i must have started on and i will inform you further into the programme.

Is anyone else on a diet? Did it work for you? How was keeping the weight of?
